埃塞历法使用太阳历，一年里前12个月为30天，第13个月有5天，在闰年有6天。埃塞日历要比国际公历要晚七年零八个月年，比格林尼治标准时间快三小时，比北京时间慢五小时。每年的9月12号是埃塞新年的第一天，所以现在是埃塞时间2004年的一月二十三号晚上十一点十三分。寂寞的季节！
