下午的三人篮球赛男子甲组先后进行了第一轮和第二轮比赛，来自广州、佛山、东莞、深圳、珠海、中山、湛江、茂名、肇庆等市的二十支代表队参加了两轮比赛的激烈角逐。三人篮球赛女子乙组的第一轮比赛也在篮球馆同时进行，广州、佛山、东莞、深圳、珠海、中山、湛江、茂名、肇庆等地的14支女子代表队参加了比赛。
根据比赛的日程安排，三人篮球赛男子甲组和女子乙组的比赛将持续进行到8月13日，随后将接着进行三人篮球赛男子乙组和女子甲组的比赛。
